At TimberBay, our dogs are members of our family. Residing indoors, all dogs have monitored access to run, play and relax on our 1.5 acre property. We believe strongly in the value of crate training, and providing a stress free enviroment for our dogs to thrive.
We also encourage our dogs to be versatile, participating in multiple disciplines. You can view more photos in our gallery.

Our foundation boy and first Lapphund—where do we even begin? Timber is an extraordinary dog who loves being a part of everything we do, whether it’s hiking in the woods or cuddling up on the couch. He’s always the first to greet us at the door when we come home, and the one who insists on a kiss (and a cookie, of course!) before heading to bed. His friendly and outgoing nature makes him a joy in the show ring and in sports—he’s always eager to catch the “ghosts” (a.k.a. bags) during sprinter.
To date, he has far exceeded our expectations, both in the ring and in sports, as well as in his role as a stud. Timber is semi-retired from conformation but will enjoy the occasional show while continuing to stay active with various sports.

Accomplishments:
2022 – #7 All-breed and #2 Owner-handled in Canada
2023 – #6 All-breed and #2 Owner Handled in Canada. Obtained his AKC CH with three back to back 5-point majors (including BOB from the classes!)
2024 – #9 All-breed and #3 Owner-Handled in Canada. Timber earned an invitation to the 2024 NOHS Finals at the National Dog Show in Orlando, Florida as the #10 Owner-Handled Finnish Lapphund in the USA. He was also the only Canadian Finnish Lapphund in the top 20 OH ranking.
First Finnish Lapphund in North America to earn an Novice Trick Dog Master (NTD-M) and an Intermediate Masters Trick Dog title (ITD-M)
Timber’s stud service is currently on hold as we plan for a potential upcoming litter of our own.

Opal exhibits everything we love in a lapphund bitch (and more!). She isn’t just a pretty face too, she is an active girl that loves to run and fetch all day, but can certainly appreciate a good quiet day indoors snuggled up with her mom Emma and big sister Tuesday.

Juniper is the youngest member of the TimberBay Pack; this little girl has so much to offer with a spicy, yet attentive personality and beautiful structure.
